For the students, the performance is a case of seniors playing seniors.
"It’s 1959, and Rydell High School’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and acting tough, and their gum-snapping “Pink Ladies” are looking good in bobby sox and pedal pushers, " a preview states. "Grease chronicles the story between hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret summer romance, but now back in the context of school, peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated."
Tickets for admission are $20. Proceeds from this year's senior musical will support the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund.
The renditions are scheduled for Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m., Friday, March 31 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
